Biography

I was born and raised in Karachi, graduated from Dow Medical College in the year 2000. I have over 20 years post-graduate experience; encompassing Surgical residency, GP training in UK followed by almost 7 years of UK psychiatry training (attaining CCT in General Adult and Liaison Psychiatry). After attaining specialist certifications, I gained further experiences working as Consultant Psychiatrist for Old Age Community Mental Health Team and an Acute Adult Inpatient Hospital ward.

Currently, I am working as a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist in a regional Neuro-Rehabilitation Hospital i.e. St Neots Neurological Centre (managing patients with complex neuro-psychiatric and neuro-degenerative conditions).

My strength is in bringing integrative psychiatry expertise to clinical practice in a holistic (patient-centered) manner whereby the mental health and physical health care domains converge in the context of my very broad-based clinical experience background.
